SI Joint routine - Week 15-16
2nd Trimester

This is a great routine to start adding in during the beginning of 2nd trimester. The SI (Sacroiliac) Joint is the junction where your spine meets your pelvis. When we are pregnant, we have a lot of hormones coursing through our body (hello relaxin) to make room in our pelvis to push the baby out. This leads to hypermobility/instability and ligament laxity especially in the SI joint which can lead to pain in that area. We need strength and stability here which is what this routine will address. I add a couple of these exercises into my routine everyday to stay out of pain.
