Labor and Birth Positions
3rd Trimester

9m 28s
This video will go over positions to practice now to get baby into a good position before birth and positions to have in your back pocket for an active labor and birth. I show many different options as not every position will work for you. It might feel good now but during labor it may not. These positions can all naturally speed up labor, are great if you are overdue or are being threatened with augmentation/intervention. Just changing your position, bouncing on the ball, staying upright, relaxed and mobile can really help. Another great option especially if you don't have any props is walking up and down stairs which moves your pelvis on the diagonal just like our lunges.
Props needed: Birthing/stability ball, pillows.
